Hard Drive Clean Up Software – DiskPie Pro 2

Advertisements

Hard Drive Clean UpHard drives are getting larger and larger. Many new machines come loaded with 1 TB drives. Amazingly, it’s never enough space. Users, like me, always manage to fill up every available nook and cranny.

Hey, but it’s not completely our own fault, right? Have you seen the size of your Windows Installer directory lately? It’s filled with installation files and patches that you have to keep or you run the risk of corrupting your installations. And what about the loads upon loads of e-mail attachments you’re bombarded with daily. Have you taken a peek at the size of your Outlook mailbox file?

In 2004 we released DiskPie Pro (DPP) to get a handle on which files were filling up your hard drives. Now, we’ve improved on this great utility making it easier to visually find your overweight folders, files, and even see whic filetypes are eating up your precious drive space.

Once you find your biggest offenders, DPP will help you clean your drive by allowing you to move, copy, or delete them. This new version is a complete rewrite of the original.

Here are a few of the highlights.

  • You can quickly identify space-hogging files and folders, so you can keep your drive clean and fast
  • You get an instant breakdown by filetype of the files that are hogging your hard disk
  • You can find and manage the largest files on your drive and network drives

Additionally, it features a spectacular new interface that makes using the utility easier than ever before.

Important: We recommend all DiskPiePro 2 users get this update. See the version history page for details.
